We recruit highly skilled individuals for a variety of disciplines in the construction field. A skilled craft worker is an essential cog in the wheel of any Superior Construction project. Qualified applicants will have experience working on Heavy Civil, Roadway or Bridge Projects. Applicant must be familiar with working from heights and/or Manlifts. Must be able to work as part of a team to accomplish a common goal.
Use of power and/or hand tools too; construct and set forms to grade, install overhang brackets, build handrails & remove/clean forms after placement of concrete.
Erect both Metal and Wood forms.
Assists with concrete pours for various structures including, Pier Footings, Columns, Caps and Bridge Decks.
Ability to Interpret blueprints, sketches, or plans to construct forms in preparation of Cast In Place (CIP) Concrete.
Must have proper knowledge of using and maintaining any type of power equipment required to fulfill job description
Understand and comply with all Company Safety policies and procedures as well as OSHA Regulations.
Properly secure and store all tools, equipment, and materials at the end of each work day

This is field based role. Employee will be working on heavy civil and highway construction sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. The position regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.
The position lifts heavy objects, walks and stands for long periods of time and performs physical labor under adverse field conditions. The employee lifts, pushes, pulls or carries objects and uses abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. The position requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multilimbed coordination. The employee must have excellent stamina.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. This position will occasionally require long hours and weekend work. Average +/-50 hours per week.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Must adhere to OSHA safety protocol, and work in a drug-free environment
Must be reliable/have reliable transportation
Preferred Education and Experience
Construction industry experience preferred
Takes full ownership of assigned projects and can work independently
Additional Eligibility Requirements
Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver s license prior to employment.
